OVERVIEW Bryan was born and raised on the Ark, a space station meant to prolong the human species after Earth became inhabitable, and worked in Farm Station there. He was in a relationship with Nathan Miller whom he was separated from when Nathan was locked up in the Sky Box for stealing - Nate was sent to Earth with the rest of the Delinquents (the 100) while Bryan stayed on the Ark. He was on Farm Station when the Ark fell to the ground and landed in the middle Ice Nation territory. After four months on the ground, he, with the rest of the Farm Station survivors, joined Arkadia. Eventually, he was reunited with Nathan and the original Sky People that had been sent down to Earth. PERSONALITY Bryan's personality is largely defined by his interactions with others. Namely Nathan, his boyfriend, and Pike, the leader of Arkadia. While he is quite capable of making his own decisions, they are often biased by the thoughts and feelings of the people he respects and cares about. Generally, he's loyal to the point that he'd rather take the side of someone else than decide for himself what needs to be done. It's not until he's pressed to make a choice, or given an ultimatum, that he does. Nathan Miller is Bryan's long time boyfriend. They met and started dating on the Ark, and Bryan is completely in love with him. During the time he was on the Ark without him, Miller was one of the original 100, he remained hopeful that he was alive. When they were finally reunited Bryan was relieved, and just as much in love, though he slowly started to see that they were both different now. His and Nathan's opinions were no longer on same side of things and it puts a strain on their relationship. When told that he has to pick between doing what Pike wants, the man has a narrow view on what's wrong and right, and following Nathan, who is trying to do what is actually right, Bryan struggles with the weight of it all. He wants to be with Nate, he loves him and hates lying to him, but Pike saved his life. Ultimately, he chooses love and Nathan, because they are so much a part of who he is and he wouldn't be him without him. No ghost stories. Bryan has, and probably always will, hate them. If told correctly, they bring to mind all of the horrors and unknowns in the universe and it scares him. Not knowing what's out there puts himself and the people he loves at risk and he hates that. Ghost stories are a simple thing to most, but they remind him that he's can be frightened, a weakness, and he avoids them at all costs. He's smart, snarky, and has a little bit of an attitude, but he means well. Bryan enjoys having people around him, is wary of those he doesn't know - a side effect of living in a metal box his whole life - and wants all the fighting to stop. He waits anxiously for a chance to be able to settle down and grow old with the man he loves - living in peace.
